It has been ten thousand years since the Emperor ascended to his Golden Throne. The Imperium of Man he created has seen much strife, but under his godlike Ægis it has persevered through these dark centuries.

Beset from all sides, by heretics and aliens, the Emperor has placed his trust in the agents of the Inquisition to carry out his will. Theirs is the thankless task of protecting Man from himself.

One by one the worlds of the Imperium fall to the foul influence of Chaos. More still are harvested by the despicable Hive Fleets of the Tyranids. Savage Orks rampage from system to system whilst the mysterious Eldar raise the souls of their dead to strengthen their armies.

Now, as the Chapters of the Space Marines and the Companies of the Imperial Guard battle to protect our lives, the Inquisition battle to protect our souls. They seek out the alien influence, purge the heretic Cults, and see that the Emperor’s Will is done.

Ever40K is a website devoted to the RPG campaign I ran using the Everway system and set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. Everway was first publishing by Wizards of the Coast and I am using a slight modification of the system. This diceless RPG system uses a Tarot-like deck (the Fortune Deck) as a randomiser and plot tool. Warhammer 40,000 continues to be published by Games Workshop, with two WH40K rpg’s published by Fantasy Flight Games (Dark Heresy & Rogue Trader).
